Language Arts
Spelling: Spelling Workout B, then continuing into Spelling Workout C.
Grammar: First Language Lessons: Levels One & Two, followed by Growing With Grammar: Grade Three.
Writing: My Printing Book and copywork.
Reading: Thirty minutes of reading daily,relating to history studies (see History), plus thirty minutes daily of ‘free’ reading.
Mathematics
Miquon series: Complete The Blue Book and The Green Book.
Developmental Math series: Complete Level Six, Level Seven, and Level Nine.
History
Historical Studies: Study the Ancients (from the beginning through 400 C.E.) using The Story of the World Volume One, plus narrations, map work, coloring pages, supplementary reading, and projects as detailed in The Story of the World Volume One Activity Guide.
Classical Studies: A survey of Greek and Roman mythology, utilizing The Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece, Roman Myths, Pegasus, Cupid and Psyche, and King Midas and the Golden Touch, as well as other books of mythology on hand.
Science
Study biology using R.E.A.L. Science Life: Level One. Supplementary materials include The Usborne Illustrated Encyclopedia of the Natural World, QuickPix Animals game, Color Anatomy, and, of course, library books.
Foreign Language
Latin: Begin study of Latin using Prima Latina with classical pronunciation and added macrons.
Spanish: Continue using Level One of La Clase Divertida.
The Arts
Art Appreciation: One page or one double-page spread per week from The Children’s Book of Art, supplemented with library books to look at more of the artists’ works.
Art Skills: Lessons with Gary, most likely using Drawing with Children as a template.
Music Appreciation: Listen to various genres and pieces throughout the week.
